Task 1
a) Decide: Are you willing to change your lifestyle to change the climate? Do the survey.
b) Find a partner with the opposite opinion.
c) Read ONE of the following texts:
- Partner A (who clicked on "I agree"): Read Opinion 1 (Everyone Needs to Change Their Lifestyle to Save the Planet)
- Partner B (who clicked on "I don't agree"): Read Opinion 2 (Lifestyle Changes Are Not Necessary or Useful)
d) Use a text-generating AI of your choice. Copy and paste the text into the AI, together with the following prompt: "Label the paragraphs with introduction, main part, and conclusion. Locate claim and explanation in the introduction. Locate examples and evidence in the text. Identify the argument types. Assess how convincing the arguments are. Give reasons."
e) Compare the result of the AI to the solution.

f) Compare your results with your partner's.

a) Do the vocabulary exercise.

Task 3
a) Comment on why you agree OR disagree with the following statement: "We need stricter laws to tackle climate change." Write between 700 and 1000 characters.
- In your introduction, outline the problem of the climate crisis in one sentence.
- Give your opinion: "We need stricter laws" OR "We should not introduce stricter laws."
- Make sure that each argument begins with a connective (firstly, first of all, furthermore, moreover,...).
- Find evidence for your arguments (research, a study, statistics, a report by a recognized authority/institution)
- Begin the conclusion with a connective (all in all, in conclusion,…).
- Summarize the main points.
b) Copy and paste your text into a textgenerating AI of your choice. Ask for suggestions to improve the text.
c) Copy and paste your comment into this text editor.
d) Exchange your comment with a partner.
