      Getting started: Spot the metaphors!

      a) Read the definition, function, and examples of metaphors.
      b) Analyze random songs for metaphors.
      • Use your headphones. Go to chosic.com to find a random song generator.
      • Decide whether you want to listen to all songs or just specific genres.
      • Listen to a few randomized songs.
      • Once you spot a metaphor, go to the pinboard to write down your example.
      • Repeat the process.
       


      c) Present your findings to the rest of the class.
