We're thrilled about our upcoming visit. As a warm-up for the students, we came up with this idea: Both the British and German student groups will hold a Balloon Debate, recording it either through video or audio. This will help them prepare for the debate, practice rhetoric, and also get acquainted with each other beforehand.

Your task:


To prepare yourselves for the Balloon Debate you should not only understand the importance of body language but also apply this knowledge.

 Create a role play in a group using the following prompts:

1) Each of you wants to be the class representative.
2) Write down what you say and hints about the use of body language for each statement.
3) Copy the role play to your journal. 
4) Prepare yourselves to present your role play and to give information how to apply your knowledge to real-life scenarios or the Balloon Debate.
