Feedback Matters: Grow with Feedback!
You have seen in the introductory quiz with the quote by Bill Gates that 'We all need people who will give us feedback. That’s how we improve.' But it is also important (not only) according to Buddha that the 'words we utter should be chosen with care, for people will hear them and be influenced by them for good or ill.'
Therefore, it is crucial to understand how to give and receive feedback and to set up certain guidelines.
Work in a group (3 or 4 students)
- Create a mind map which depicts your collected knowledge about feedback
- Research online for
- Advice on giving feedback
- Advice on taking feedback
- General feedback rules
==> add the information to your mind map.
- Develop a flyer for your school that helps students to give and take feedback.Consider the following points:
- Divide the research among your group members.
- Structure the flyer in a meaningful way and print one version..
- Once finished, copy the mind map and the flyer to your journal.
