Criteria for a Bad Letter of Application

  1. Informal Tone:

    • Uses casual or slang language.
    • Sounds unprofessional.
  2. Poor Structure:

    • Does not have a clear greeting, body, and closing.
    • Ideas are mixed up and hard to follow.
  3. Lack of Relevant Experience:

    • Does not show important skills or experience.
    • Includes information that does not relate to the job.
  4. Negative Attitude:

    • Complains about salary or work conditions.
    • Lacks excitement for the job.
  5. Weak Personal Qualities:

    • Does not mention important personal skills.
    • Talks about negative traits or problems.
  6. Wordiness:

    • Has too many unnecessary details.
    • Repeats ideas or is unclear.
  7. Inappropriate Closing:

    • Does not thank the reader.
    • Ends in an unprofessional way.
  8. Errors and Formatting Issues:

    • Has spelling or grammar mistakes.
    • Looks messy and is hard to read.
