Indian Eating Habits 

Indian food is rich, tasty, and diverse, showing the culture and different regions of the country. Here are some common eating habits in India.

India is known for its aromatic curries made with spices, herbs, and ingredients like chicken, lamb, or vegetables. Roti, a type of flatbread, and rice are basic foods in many Indian meals. Indian street food, like samosas, chaat, and dosas, is very popular and full of flavor.

In India, families often eat together and share food from big plates. Indian cooking uses many spices, such as turmeric, cumin, and coriander. Many Indians are vegetarians for cultural or religious reasons.

Indian food can be both healthy and unhealthy. To eat healthier, choose grilled or baked dishes, eat plenty of vegetables, and be careful with oil and sugar.
