 Learning project: Creating an information sheet about workshop safety

Project description: 

In your company, young men and women regularly do internships in the workshop. Since some of the interns often speak better English than German, they should be given a safety briefing with the help of an English information sheet.     

  What might be important when designing an information sheet?

The AIDA-model  (see below) helps you to create an information sheet. Find an example for each letter (e.g. 'Attention' - if I hear a loud noise behind me, I'll look round to see what's happening)

Internet research: Consult the internet to get initial ideas for the layout of an information flyer on safety and safety instructions.

Look for at least one good example and save it in the forum.

  Learning job II - Creating your information sheet about workshop safety

Create your information sheet on "Safety in the workshop" in English by writing short texts and adding appropriate pictures.

Upload your results to the following student folder.    

  Learning job III - Presenting your information sheet

Use your information sheet about workshop safety to give your classmates a safety briefing in the workshop.  

Your teacher will put you into meeting rooms.

Ask your colleagues for a quick feedback, using the checklist.
